CG -a hopeless romantic is a person [lets say a guy] who dreams about meeting the perfect girl.. a sensitive person who lives by the “follow your heart” saying, someone who puts love and their emotions on the first place
my ex was a hopeless romantic.
JOEY – a hopeless romantic is one that is so engross with the word love. its something magical to be quite over acting for others.a feeling of needing love just like the air and the water that one cannot function without….that’s hopeless and romantic…right?
I got that answers from the link above. And I do agree on their views.
But I do have a different meaning of being a hopeless romantic. First, I am not hopeless, I do have faith in love and romance after all these times. Second, romance is a spice in life that is present in every shape and form. Third, I am romantic. In a way I know and in whatever I can.
But this story doesn’t concern about how hopeless I am. I could say that I love romance, I get too excited whenever I hear other people’s romantic journey, how they found their one true love, manage the challenges and obstacles that comes with a relationship, and how they continue to be together despite the heart aches that comes with it.
Love and Romance is a package deal – and I know you know what I mean! Sometimes more than what we thought we could give and receive. It is a partnership. A cause and effect. A resolution. A choice. But not a choice to be hopeless.
One who doesn’t have a partner can be called a hopeless romantic if one chooses to be. Forgetting to find the real person and living on the dream of having someone created in their minds. it can be debilitatingly destructive if one continues to live in a dream. It is hard to find someone. One has qualifications of what they looked for a partner. Like a job order that comes with specific descriptions.
As I have said, it is a package deal. Everything is in it. Beyond what we can imagine, yet it depends on the partner one gets to find. Others may be short of what one is really looking for.
So the package deal should be dealt like – understanding the person, discovering the qualities, accepting the shortcomings, appreciating their strength, walking with them in bad and good times, in all lows and ups, and making a deal that they would face life as one.
